A cash bar implies that your guests will pay for their own beverages. A ‘host’ or ‘open’ bar implies that you will be paying for your guest’s beverages. Subsidized bars may also be arranged (for example a $2 or $3 bar). This is where your guests pay only a set price for each drink and then you are charged for the remaining cost.
If choosing a host bar, you have the option of a deluxe or premium beverage selection. A premium host bar includes Domestic Beer, House Wine, Liquor, Soft Drinks and Bottled Water. A deluxe host bar includes Domestic and Imported Beer, House Wine, Liquor, Liqueurs, Brandy, Cocktails, Soft Drinks and Bottled Water.
Should your wedding’s total bar sales be less than $375 before gratuities and taxes, a labour charge of $35 per bartender per hour shall apply, with a minimum of 4 hours each.”
