Pet Policy

The Sun Peaks Grand Hotel & Conference Centre is a pet-friendly hotel that happily welcomes your well behaved four-legged family members. You must ensure that you reserve a room type that is available on the pet floor and that you inform us you are bringing a pet prior to your arrival, as pet-friendly rooms are limited. To ensure maximum safety for our team members and as a courtesy to you and our fellow guests, all pets must be registered at the Front Desk. We we will review our pet policy and collect contact information from you, should we need to reach you regarding your pet during your stay with us.

A $35 cleaning fee per week is applicable if you have a pet staying with you. Additional fees can be charged for any damage or cleaning required beyond the extra cleaning normally covered by the $35 fee.

It is important that your pet is never left unattended in your room. If you are vacating your room without your pet, please ensure the Front Office can reach you through your contact information you provided upon arrival. In the event that your pet becomes agitated, this will ensure you can come back to comfort him before he disturbs other guests in the hotel.

It is recommended that housekeeping services your room when you and your pet are out for a walk. Please contact our housekeeping team when you are ready for your room to be serviced. In order to mutually protect our guests and your pet, pets must be on a leash when outside of the room at all times.  Pets are not allowed in the hotel pool area, fitness rooms, banquet spaces and restaurants.

Please note that, in addition to the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel, all Residence at the Sun Peaks Grand condos units are pet-friendly.
