BC Hydro Planned Power Outage – October 25, 2026

BC Hydro has scheduled a planned power outage for Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 8:00am to 2:30pm to conduct maintenance. The outage is expected to affect approximately 2,200 customers in Sun Peaks, Louis Creek, Upper Louis Creek, Whitecroft and Heffley Creek.
Village amenities and services may be affected during this time. Guests and residents are encouraged to plan accordingly and contact individual businesses directly to confirm operating hours and availability.
The following Sun Peaks Resort and Sun Peaks Grand Hotel outlets will remain open:
- Café Soleil
- Mantles Restaurant & Lounge
