Our thoughts have been with our neighbours and communities across British Columbia affected by wildfires, and we're grateful to those working tirelessly in response to these events.
Currently, there are no active wildfires in close proximity to Sun Peaks or the immediate surrounding communities, and the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel & Residences and Sun Peaks Resort remain open and welcoming guests. The Provincial State of Emergency doesn’t impact Sun Peaks and there are currently no travel restrictions in the province.
We're happy to welcome those who may be displaced or looking for a place to rest and recover, anyone with pre-booked holidays, and those looking to enjoy mountain resort amenities. We have plenty of accommodation available.
We encourage all guests to check Sun Peaks Resort’s latest air quality and wildfire updates and live webcams to help inform decision making.
